International Trade and Exports
The Canadian Textile Industry Association (CTIA) sees international trade as a source of long-term growth for our businesses. The objective of the International Trade and Exports Committee is to study and report to its members on the issues relating to international trade. It closely follows developments on trade policies and informs its members of any problems or potential concerns.
At the request of the Government of Canada, the Committee can represent the industry during negotiations on various trade agreements such as the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between Canada and the European Union (CETA) and the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA).
By participating in the International Trade Committee you will be able to influence Canada,s trade policies and Canada's import and export strategy.
